CONNECTING FAMILIES Programme focuses on communication between parents and caregivers in all kinds of modern families—whether you’re married, partnered, separated, divorced, single, in a blended family, or co-parenting.
The way we communicate as parents has a powerful effect on the whole family. Children thrive in homes where they feel safe, heard, and supported. But when conflict becomes stuck or unresolved, it can get in the way of their healthy development.
CONNECTING FAMILIES Programme shares some tips how to make communication flowing again after a stuck or a disruption. How to see conflict as an opportunity to change something, small or big. To learn something more about my partner (or co-parent), about myself and about our relationship.
In the group meetings Act for Change facilitators offer a confidential space to share these tips and learn from each other's experience. We offer practical tools that help us stay engaged around conflicts and not to just get overwhelmed, feeling helpless and alone. You are welcome as you are!
