Event description

This Open College Network Level 2 accredited course is not a cookery club—it’s a dynamic, knowledge-packed journey designed to equip you with the skills and confidence to run your own cookery clubs in your community.

Over seven weeks, you will:

  • Discover the power of healthy eating and how to teach it effectively

  • Learn what a balanced diet really looks like and how it impacts overall health

  • Decode food labels and make informed choices

  • Master the art of planning, delivering, and managing engaging cookery sessions

  • Explore budgeting, health & safety, and inclusive approaches for diverse groups

By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to launch your own cookery club, empowering others to make healthier food choices and build stronger, more connected communities.

📢 IMPORTANT: This is a theory-based course—not a cookery club. It’s about learning how to run one, not just attend!

PLEASE NOTE - There will be no session over half term - Tuesday 28th October
