Are you interested in DIY printing, in publishing your own work, or exploring print-making? Join artist Dunya Kalantery for ‘The Perfect Binder’: a series of workshops at the TACO! Print Studio, in collaboration with QUEERCIRCLE: exploring print-making and DIY publishing. You will learn how to use a risograph printer, experiment with new creative skills, DIY print culture and distribution.
The group is open to trans+ and queer teenagers, who are based in Bexley and the surrounding areas. No prior experience necessary! Just bring your curiosity and yourselves. Workshops will be led by Dunya Kalantery. Dunya is a queer artist, writer and youth worker. They are passionate about DIY culture, collective life, and rocks. Among other things, they make artist publications and work with found treasure. They write transfeminist psychogeography through a queer, diaspora lens.
This project is a collaboration between QUEERCIRCLE and TACO!, and will take place at TACO! Printo Studio, 30 Poplar Place, SE29 8BB.
