service
Victim support’s Safer Space+ is a service for children and young people aged 5 to 17 years living in London, who have experienced domestic abuse at home.
We are commissioned by the Children with Disabilities Team through a framework to give parent carers of children and young people with disabilities a short break from their caring responsibilities.

The short breaks services are delivered within the family home or on activities in the community. The support we provide ensures parent carer(s) have a break from their caring responsibilities & the child or young person has the opportunity to access and participate in a range of activities of their choice.
Referrals primarily come through the Children with Disabilities Team who undertake the initial assessment & validate the number of hours allocated to a family. Once allocated we will make contact with you to arrange a mutually convenient time to visit.
Please contact Mary Garrity on 01322 341983; or email: office@ccsel.org for more information.
*Any mileage/travel or entrance costs for staff who accompany your child/young person are the responsibility of parent carers.
