The offer is intensive, person-centred and strengths-based empowering individuals to find competitive employment aligned with their preferences
Delivered through two evidence-based Supported Employment models
Connect to Work supports individuals who:
Have a disability or long-term health condition (formal diagnosis not required),
Face multiple or complex barriers to employment due belonging to one of the disadvantaged groups below
Are not currently working and want to find a job,
Are at risk of falling out of work due to health or other challenges (need to evidence 3 months of employment) Disadvantaged Groups Include:

Ex-offenders (serving or completed custodial/community sentences)

Carers and ex-carers

Homeless individuals or those with homelessness experience

Veterans, reservists, and partners of Armed Forces personnel

People with ahistory of drug or alcohol dependency

Important Points:
Entrance: Enter the Civic Offices via the main entrance as displayed in the image above.
Reception: As you walk through the main entrance, follow signs for BBE and turn left and speak to the receptionist – inform them you are here to see Bexley Business & Employment (BBE) and the name of your Advisor. You will be required to sign in at reception using the digital signing-in pad.
Appointments from 3pm: You will be required to wait at the main entrance of the Civic Offices, and you will be met by a member of BBE staff. Please bring your appointment letter with you if you have one.
Café: Refreshments from the Civic Café are available
Accessibility: All employment support areas are on the Ground Floor with disabled toilet access.

By Public Transport:
the nearest Train Station is Barnehurst Station (Southeastern), Bexleyheath DA7 6HH
the walk from the Station to the Civic Offices is about 15 to 20 minutes
Bus Routes: 229, 401, 99, B12, 96, 301, 269 to Bexleyheath Town Centre then a 10-minute walk to Civic Offices
By Car:
the nearest parking is Bexleyheath Cinema Car Park or Albion Road Car Park, behind the Marriott Hotel (parking charges may apply). Hall Place offers free parking and is about a 20-minute walk.
