Shine is a youth service in Greenwich for LGBTQ+ young people aged 16-19, and up to 25 with SEND. We welcome all those on the LGBTQ+ spectrum as well as anyone who is questioning or exploring their identity.
METRO also provides free LGBTQ+ awareness and inclusion training to Greenwich educators.
Group members can:
Meet other queer and questioning young people in a safe and affirming space
Have fun and engage in creative workshops and projects
Go on free trips to theatres, galleries, museums, Pride events, the METRO Youth Winter Ball and more
Get support and information from experienced LGBTQ+ identifying youth workers, or be referred for free counselling

SEN sessions are unstructured gymnastics play incorporating gymnastics equipment, soft play shapes and a bouncy castle. These sessions are specifically designed for SEN children and their families, with smaller session sizes and no music.
