We are hosting a free women’s health community event bringing together residents, clinicians, and local organisations to focus on Menopause and Heavy Menstrual Bleeding.
The event will take place on Friday 30 January, 12:00–3:00 pm, at The Nest Great Hall, Thamesmead Library. It will feature an information session delivered by Dr Lauren Sibley, Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare Clinical Lead in Bexley, followed by a Q&A session.
Alongside the main talk, attendees can take part in a mindfulness session, access a therapeutic hand massage stall, enjoy light refreshments, and visit information stalls offering guidance, resources, and support for women.
This includes information on the Greenwich and Bexley Women and Girls Health Hub and how to access this new service, which supports menopause, heavy menstrual bleeding, pre-pregnancy care, and long-term contraception.
Community groups and charities that support women will host information stalls.
Registration is not required for residents to attend. We look forward to welcoming you.
