What is this service?

Carers are the unsung heroines & heroes who perform an unbelievably challenging role–often with little or no recognition for the sacrifices they make.

Our aim is to make carers lives a little easier and help them deliver better care while also taking care of themselves. Our Carers Support service welcomes all those who are caring for a family member or friend and we work with the carer and the person they are looking after.

We will do Home visits as well as be there at the end of the phone, provide practical advice, offer extra support in times of crisis, provide information about benefits and other support that is available, help you to access this and help you to get respite care.

Our Carers Support service welcomes all those who are caring for a family member or friend and we work with the carer and the person they are looking after.

Taking place at Progress Hall.

Thought for Feet: We know how hard it can be to be a full-time Carer, often on your feet for a lot of the day and night. One of the small but important support gestures we offer our members is a discounted podiatry service that can come and treat your feet in the comfort of your own home.
