The aim of our Advice and Health project is to provide advice, support and information to members of the Irish community in Bexley, Lewisham and Greenwich. Our Advice workers can offer specialist advice and practical help in relation to benefits and entitlements for people under 55.

As a result of Covid-19, we had to move a lot of our activities online and many of you discovered you like to take part in things without having to leave home! So we will continue to provide social activities and groups which you can take part in using your laptop, smartphone or tablet.

Receiving the news that you or a loved one has been diagnosed with Cancer can be devastating and daunting. With the Cancer Self Help Group, you have people on hand to help you. Some of our group have experienced Cancer themselves, others have been carers for loved ones with Cancer

Outreach support to our members is at the heart of what Irish Community Services does. We offer a range of services to members of all ages, for those times when they need a shoulder to lean on as well as when they are ready to make new friends and have fun.

End the week with the tradition of Fish Friday – join us for fish and chips on the last Friday of each month. A great way to catch up and enjoy a meal together.

This services is for cared for people who have some form of dementia, memory loss or cognitive impairment, and for carers who are looking after them. We will give you all a warm welcome. With the opportunity to remember the past through shared memories

We have partnered with Ewings & Co (Solrs) to offer a free legal advice telephone consultation service to our members. The service is provided on Thursday between 11am and 1pm and it must be booked in advance.

We know how much you missed the opportunity to have a meal and socialise together; to make new friends or just keep up with old ones. We are making a start with a weekly Lunch Club at (Progress Hall, Eltham) on (Tuesday).
