Supporting Bexley’s residents to take control digitally, for better health and wellbeing. Digital Health Champions are friendly, trained volunteers who support residents to use the NHS App, other online health tools, and learn how to stay safe online. We help people feel confident.

What is a Digital Health Champion?

A Digital Health Champion helps you use digital tools to manage your health confidently and safely.

They support residents with:

  • NHS App

  • getUBetter App

  • Digital Health Passport

  • Creating a Universal Care Plan (UCP)

  • Staying safe online

  • General health and wellbeing tips

  • Health forms and applications

Why Digital Health Matters

Digital health tools make it easier for residents to manage their health, stay informed, and access services quickly. But many people still struggle with digital skills, confidence, or access — which can lead to missed appointments, delays in care, and increased stress.

Support for Organisations

We work closely with local organisations to make digital health support easy and accessible. Whether you’re a GP surgery, community centre, charity, or wellbeing hub, Digital Health Champions can help your residents feel confident using online health tools.
