The Hop ‘n’ Shop is a bus service operated by BATS which serves to provide members with access to local supermarkets, shops, markets and occasional out-of-borough trips on selected days. It is available to all members.

The Hop ‘n’ Shop is a bus service operated by BATS which serves to provide members with access to local supermarkets, shops, markets and occasional out-of-borough trips on selected days. It is available to all members.
Members are picked-up and dropped-off as close to their home as is possible. It is also possible to book, in advance, a volunteer shopper to help members with shopping and carrying of bags. Members can book a place on the Hop ‘n’ Shop bus by telephone from the monthly itinerary sent to them which offers trips to shopping centres, markets and supermarkets on a first come first served basis.
The service runs Mondays to Fridays 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. * Please note that on these days, the service may not run due to low demand. A single fare on the Hop'n'Shop bus is £2. You CANNOT purchase tickets from the driver.
Tickets are available for purchase from the BATS office, where members are able to buy books of tickets at a cost of £20.00 (10 tickets). For specific information about Hop ‘n’ Shop Bus, please e-mail: enquiries@bexleyct.co.uk or give us a call on (01322) 311333.
