What is this activity?

Men in Sheds Bexley is a community group for retired men over 50 to come together, make things and most importantly have fun! We are based in the grounds of Christ Church Erith, just behind the church hall. Men in Sheds is a service run by Age UK Bexley.

Members share and learn new skills from one another in a workshop environment. The shed is community club where members can chat, laugh and share stories over a cup of tea. The shed often undertakes commissions from local organisations, schools and community groups.

As a part of our fundraising, we also sell items made in the shed at local markets or can take orders for bespoke woodwork. Check out our commissions page for more information.

Open Monday to Friday 9.30 to 3.30pm . If you are interested in joining the project and would like to visit, please book an appointment with the Project Officer. We can will only do a shed visit by appointment and arranged in advance.
