Age UK Bexley is an independent local charity. We've been working in the local community to help older people for 30 years. We have 30 dedicated staff and over 120 volunteers helping us to deliver services and activities for older people in Bexley

With our 1-1 Befriending Service our friend is visit people at home on a regular basis for a friendly chat. This helps combat social isolation and loneliness. We offer befriending over the long and short term. You may live in your own home, sheltered accommodation or a care home.

Delivered by JLinks Physiotherapy, our physiotherapy class is fun, accessible and can pave the way to improving your quality of life and independence. The aim of the class is to improve fitness, strength, and balance. This is also a social way to keep fit and meet new people.

Age UK Bexley runs a walking group based in Danson Park. Join us to meet new people and keep active at the same time! The session is led by volunteers and will go at a pace suitable for the whole group. After each walk the group will go for a chat over tea or coffee.
