Distribution of the fund

The Committee meets on a monthly basis to consider the requests which have been made from agencies or local organisations via the Welfare Officer. Support and assistance is given to families and individuals in the purchase of basic household furniture and white goods.

Referral process

In order to apply for a grant we require a formal referral letter/email from a social worker, doctor or school which details: 

• a brief outline of why the person / family needs our help

• the number of adults and children affected

• a name, address and contact number (the client must be local to Bexley Borough

• a list of items needed in order of priority 

As we are a small charity, it is unlikely we can always provide everything.
