What is this service?

The Age UK Bexley Support at Home service is provided to people with support needs in their own home, using paid Support Workers who all have an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. Support Workers can provide company and companionship, assist with preparing food and drink, support you to engage in activities, ensure your safety, and, if we agree it is safe to do so, take you out and about in the community.

They cannot help with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) or with medication.

Please make contact for more detailed information on costings for this service*

*there might be financial support available through Bexley council and/or the Department of Work and Pensions to help with the cost, depending on eligibility. If you qualify, we can help you to claim this if you would like us to.
